What we’ve been up to in 2024

It sounds cliche, but what a year it’s been! 2024 has been a period of growth and transformation for PN – it’s been amazing to see how many new organisations we have been able to help this year and grow our little team.

In November we held our annual Strategy Day, and it was great to reflect on where we have come from as individuals and a team, and this year has been full of wins across the different channels we operate it.

Here are just a few of the wins we’ve had for our clients:

LinkedIn

For many of our clients, we’ve been able to create meaningful networks on LinkedIn resulting in strong new relationships, brand awareness and leads being formed. One client, in particular, has had particularly strong growth, each month Lauren has been successfully generating around a dozen strong enquiries for the client.

Google Ads

We’ve had some great wins for some of our Google Ad Grant clients. Adrian has put a lot of work into restructuring and updating grant accounts for clients who previously managed their Google Ad Grant elsewhere, and they are now exceeding all Google Grant KPI benchmarks, resulting in incoming business for these important organisations.

SEO

SEO has been a big area of achievement for our team this year. The improvements that we’ve made for one client have meant that they have a steady and consistent flow of work coming in now, where as before it had been very seasonal. They’ve landed some really big, well-known brands as clients that they have ongoing contracts with now, which in turn means that they are able to give their supported staff (who are mostly casual employees) more consistent work.

For another client, we took the overall KPIs they were looking to achieve with their website, and we developed a comprehensive SEO strategy, taking into consideration the feedback on their target keywords and pages, making sure it remained relevant and meaningful. The result? Their website has 72 keywords ranking within the top 3 positions and 124 keywords in the top 10 positions, showcasing a solid presence in key search queries that are relevant to them.

Website Design and Build

2024 was a big year for website projects for PN. One particular project really sticks out for the team. The client was really unhappy with a number of aspects of their old website – with the platform it was built on and its limitations, with the design, and with the content. We undertook Customer Journey Mapping and then a complete website redesign, and recently launched the new website. For this particular client, to be starting the new year with a new website is a big win, and will set them off on the right foot for continued growth.

Brand Sentiment

One client wanted to counteract some of the grumblings the residents in their local area were making about the inconveniences of having the organisation located there, but shifting the focus to the huge impact that their programs have on the local community and wider Melbourne. Recent ‘earnt media’ including an article published on news.com.au and a reddit thread full of comments commending the work that the organisation does in supporting the community, indicate that the multi-channel campaign (organic social, paid social, SEO, Google Ads, direct messaging on LinkedIn) has had a positive impact.

Fundraising

We recently helped a client with a sponsorship proposal for a new annual event they were getting off the ground. Through consulting and design assistance in the lead-up to their event, the client ended up securing a lot more sponsors than anticipated – which is a great result considering it was their first year.

We are incredibly proud of the results that our team continues to deliver, but more than this, we are in awe of the care and dedication our team puts into helping these worthy organisations meet their objectives and have a meaningful impact in their community. Looking forward to seeing what we can achieve in 2025!
